With an annual rainfall of 250ml, and temperatures from -7deg to 40+ deg c, and as Alice Springs lies in the centre of the second driest continent on earth… we have the biggest beach.
We are one of the most remote Girl Guide Districts in the world, being 1500km from our Territory Girl Guide head office in Darwin, and with our nearest Guide neighbour “just up the road” in Tennant creek, over 500km north.
UNITS… Guides Units meet weekly at the Alice Springs Guide Hall or at the many Girl Guide activities organised by the girls and their leaders throughout the year
PATROLS… Units are divided into Patrols, allowing girls to develop leadership and team skills through group activities, guided by their elected Patrol Leaders and Seconds
